How to make your arms look thinner...

The upper arm is an incredibly difficult place to lose weight from and to tone up, but you can make this
troublesome area look much smaller by making some simple, clever adjustments to your wardrobe.


Sleeveless tops:
I know that when it gets hot in the summer, sleeveless tops seem practical, but they are also the biggest
culprits of making your arms look bigger. Try to stick with short sleeves,  make sure they are not too tight,
they will cover your arms and make them look much thinner.
When choosing short sleeve tops, try to make sure that the sleeve holes are a little bit big, I know this
sounds odd, but it will look like there is not enough arm to fill the sleeve, a sort of optical illusion.


Long sleeve tops:
Tight fitting sleeves will only emphasis the bulkiness of your upper arm, wear fluted sleeves as these will
act by balancing out the proportions of your arm and making it appear slimmer. Much like bootlegs and
flares do for legs.


Three quarter length:
Three quarter length tops are great for those with bigger upper arms, they cut you off at the point where
your arm is smallest, making it seem like your arm is that size all they way up.


Jackets:
Make sure that the sleeves of your jacket are not too tight, they should be loose and come to the point
where your wrist meets your hand. If necessary, buy the jacket a little bigger and have it taken in around
the waist, most tailors or dressmakers will not charge much for this.
